Basalt

Basalt is often dark gray to black in color due to its high concentration of augite or other dark-colored pyroxene minerals, but it can vary greatly in shades. Used in construction for building blocks, interior and exterior walls, floors, sinks, monuments, pool coping, sills, paving stone, stepping stone, cobblestones, and statues.
